We provide environmentally sound horticultural education to the public through tabling and exhibits at public libraries and community events, garden talks, and help desks.

We create and maintain educational displays and exhibits on gardening topics at all 23 Fairfax County Public Libraries.

VCE Help Desks

We manage a Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) Help Desk at Green Spring Gardens from mid-April through the end of September on Saturdays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Please stop by with your gardening questions.
